Day 56 | Montreal Is Calling
Woke up today to the sound of pigeons. 🐦Thank you so much for messages from yesterday’s post. Real ppl really understood what I’ve been going through, and reacted in a positive way.
Today is a new day, a new dawn, a new life 🎼. It’s the last Muketo afternoon party on a roof. I’m gonna miss these parties for sure, but gotta prep for my upcoming jet lag.
Just saw the video from yesterday’s class at Kizomba Canada. Wtf! Where did all those people come from! I’ve never seen so many students during my absence. I guess my team is really running things in Mtl! #competitionisgettinghard 😂👊👍. Great job once again to the whole team. That was a nice Wednesday kizomba practice. Got me missing Montreal really a lot. Made me proud that the team is working their asses off. #welldone
We getting closer to the finish line Mi Gente and I have a weird feeling because I am definitely missing Mtl but I am starting to miss Lisbon too. 😂 But we still have 2 parties to go, your doctor still gonna be teaching at LX Factory, workshop from 4-6pm. And on Saturday, again Delmare Café with DJ Carlos Vas and DJ Amado and that’s gonna be absolutely bananas! 🍌🍌Yes, it’s a bittersweet feeling mixed with a lot of good deeds, great emotions and amazing people. I had to clean up my Facebook accounts to make room for all these new ppl, who I know will be friends for the rest of my days. That alone made this disaster worthwhile. But life goes on like the great Tupac said, so our great story must end.
Big shout out to my sister Vanessa aka Mwangole from another mother and different fathers, happy belated birthday! Thank you for everything you do and all you represent. She got her name Mwangole because of her passion for semba. I never seen nobody with so much love for semba, even after all these years training with KC she still is stuck with her ruling passion. #sembalovermwangole It was nice to see you dancing and enjoying with all of those people in class, miles away. That’s the semba spirit! Alegria 😁
