Day 16 | Back At It

Mi Gente. This week, I’ve been waking up with joy on my face. Sunday’s open house was off the charts! The people were enthusiastic, the instructors were on point. We had the very first of the Dsantos franchises come up to give us a hand aka Dsantos VT, under the leadership of Sarah Snow. I was very proud to see how many people showed up with an interest in semba and kizomba and kuduro. They were non-stop sweating and laughing and having a good time. 🔥😁

Monday we started with the classes, like I told you in my last post. The break is over. We had 2 hours of kuduro, for kids and adults. Please come and join us next week! Kizomba Canada welcomes with open hands any type of students, any levels. We just want people to dance. Yesterday was semba and today is kizomba class and practice. Tomorrow, Manuel and Flavie are teaching at Baila, Saturday is my welcome back party and Sunday is the auditions for my new project Afro-fitness. No more time for jet-lag!

It feels good to be in Montreal, my city. It feels good to see my people.

Muchas gracias, Mi Gente. Can’t wait to see you in class but if you can’t make it, I will keep you posted with the weekly videos. 😉🎥
