Day 31 | Gindungo: 3 days to go

Good afternoon Mi Gente, I woke up in the morning but I waited till noon to drop you this note because I know most of you guys are on break right now. Today is day 31 of soberness, alcohol free, weed free, all the detox is marinating in my melanine and shining shining shining. Yesterday I received a call from my brother from the same father, Mr. Edwin Rivera, we are sons of Mr. RIP Albert Torres, and my brother put in tears on the phone yesterday, motherfucker, he knows how to get to me like any brother does. He just confirmed all my gigs for 2018, the ones I thought I had absolutely lost because of my #stuckineverything. He was really happy to see me in New York City, and we are gonna continue Mr. Albert Torres’ legacy, aka our daddy’s legacy. Expect to see me at the New York Salsa Congress, expect to see me at the LA Salsa Congress, expect to see me at all the Aventura Dance Cruises, and most definitely, definitely to see my chair as a judge at the Miami World Latin Cup. I’m talking 6 or 7 gigs on top of the ones that I’ve already been invited to. Now the passport is REALLY getting Rick Ross tattooed.

Imma repeat today’s quote “Follow your heart, but take your brain with you. #justsaying”. Self-explanatory. Make sure that you follow what it says. Because you never know of the day of tomorrow.

On another note. Gindungo, Mi Gente. GINDUNGO. It’s here. Finally 3 days left to the official opening on Friday. But! 1 day left for the Montreal celebration. We gonna start on Wednesday with DJ Paraiso, international all the way from France, backed up with our house DJs, you already know DJ Fofo Jah and DJ Do Marçal. They gonna do that Kitaba Gindungo edition, like never before. The party starts right now. And on Thursday! Baila Con Gusto con mucho Gusto – we gonna have the big kizomba room, with DJ the Best and DJ Paraiso. And of course, a nice performance by Frans and Sarah. And party party party party because you already know my brother Fabricio is gonna be in the building, my sister Elisa is gonna be in the building, and many more artists from Gindungo are going to be in the building. And Friday we officially start the madness!

That’s it my people. I’m gonna keep this short and sweet because I have to do my live in about 2 seconds. I am 176lbs bad liquids free of my body. I’m weighing what I used to weigh when I was about 20 years old. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. Nothing but muscle. I even lost my side-handles! Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. No side handles!
